EAA Chapter 900 is based at Post Air Airport (7L8),1215 S. Franklin Road, Indianapolis, IN. 7L8 is a privately-owned, public use airport with no services. The chapter meets in the Post Air club room at 6:00 p.m. each first Tuesday of the month, with exceptions for holidays, and the annual EAA AirVenture meet in Oshkosh, WI. Members of Chapter 900 are aircraft builders, restorers, owners, and flyers who are eager to welcome visitors who arrive by air, automobile, motorcycle, or bicycle! Aircraft owned by chapter members include North American AT-6, Vultee BT-13, RV-8 (1), RV-7 (1), Aeronca Champ, Aeronca Chief, Super Cub, Pitts, Jeanie's Teeny, Piper Cherokee, and RV-12. One Van's RV-12 has been completed recently by a member, and two other Van's aircraft are under construction by chapter members. Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join the chapter. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like-minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community, and have a lot of fun doing so.
